Instructions

  1. Preparing the Batter: Whisk together all dry ingredients—flour, baking powder, and sugar—in a bowl. In a separate bowl, mix the wet ingredients, including milk, eggs, and melted butter. Slowly combine the wet and dry ingredients until just blended to maintain a fluffy texture, avoiding overmixing.
  2. Filling the Donut Pan: Lightly grease a donut pan to prevent sticking. Spoon or pipe the batter into each donut cavity, filling about halfway to allow room for the donuts to rise.
  3. Baking the Donuts: Place the pan in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) and bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the donuts are golden and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  4. Preparing the Strawberry Glaze: While the donuts cool, blend the fresh strawberries with powdered sugar and lemon juice until smooth. Adjust the consistency by adding more powdered sugar to thicken or lemon juice to thin as needed for a perfect glaze texture.
