Instructions

  1. Prepare the Beef Mixture: Heat a skillet over medium heat and add ground beef, diced onions, and minced garlic. Cook, breaking the beef apart, until browned and fully cooked. Season with salt, pepper, and preferred spices. Drain excess fat if necessary, then stir in ketchup and mustard to infuse the classic cheeseburger flavor.
  2. Assemble the Quesadillas: Lay one flour tortilla flat. Spread a generous layer of shredded cheddar cheese evenly over it. Spoon the warm beef mixture on top, then add pickles along with optional fresh veggies like tomatoes and lettuce. Sprinkle more cheese on top to help seal the quesadilla, then place a second tortilla on top.
  3. Cook Until Crispy: Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Carefully place the assembled quesadilla onto the skillet and cook for 3 to 4 minutes on each side, or until the tortillas turn golden brown and crispy, and the cheese inside is fully melted.
