Ingredients

Scale

Chicken Base

  • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken (boneless, skinless breasts or thighs)

Creamy Filling

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 packet (about 1 oz) ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Bacon

  • 6 slices bacon, cooked crispy and crumbled

Slider Assembly

  • 12 slider buns, soft and slightly sweet

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken: Begin by cooking and shredding 2 cups of boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs. You can boil, bake, or slow cook the chicken until tender and easy to pull apart with forks.
  2. Mix Creamy Filling: In a medium bowl, combine the shredded chicken with 8 oz of softened cream cheese, 1 packet of ranch seasoning mix, and 1 cup of shredded sharp cheddar cheese. Stir well until everything is evenly mixed and creamy.
  3. Add Crispy Bacon: Cook 6 slices of bacon until crispy, then crumble into bite-sized pieces and fold into the chicken mixture to add a smoky, crunchy texture.
  4. Assemble the Sliders: Slice 12 slider buns in half and generously spoon the crack chicken filling onto the bottom halves. Top with the bun tops to create perfect little sandwiches.
  5. Toast and Serve: For an extra delicious finish, place the assembled sliders on a baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes, until the buns are slightly toasted and the cheese melts enticingly.

Notes

  • Use freshly shredded chicken for the best texture and flavor absorption.
  • Don’t skimp on bacon to get that essential smoky, salty crunch.
  • Let the cream cheese soften at room temperature to blend smoothly.
  • Adjust ranch seasoning to taste, or add garlic powder for additional flavor depth.
  • Lightly toast slider buns to prevent sogginess from the moist filling.
