Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken: Pat the chicken thighs dry thoroughly using paper towels to ensure crispy skin. Season both sides generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Sear the Chicken: Heat olive oil or butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Place chicken thighs skin-side down and cook without moving them for 7-9 minutes until the skin is crispy and golden brown.
  3. Flip and Add Garlic: Turn the chicken over and reduce heat slightly. Add the minced garlic around the pan, allowing it to soften and release its aroma without burning.
